Framing has two customers: the general contractor who needs a reliable crew, and the homeowner building an ADU who found out they need a framer. The site has a page for each, with the C-5 number up front and finished framing that shows the work is square.
Fouro Digital builds websites for framing contractors in San Jose and across the Bay Area, including Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Milpitas, Fremont and Gilroy. The South Bay is building ADUs faster than any time in its history, and most C-5 framers have no site at all, so the first one with real pages for ADU framing, additions and decks takes the homeowner searches while the GC page keeps the sub work coming. I am a one-person studio in San Jose: I design, write and launch every site myself, in English and Spanish, for $2,100 fixed for the eight-page Growth build, with Google setup included. Call or text (408) 620-4106. Esta página en español.
I check this against real search results in San Jose before I write a page, because the page has to match the search or it does not show. For framing contractors the pattern is consistent:
One page per service, because each service is its own search. A single "Services" page with everything on it ranks for nothing.
For "framing contractor" the search volume is small and most of it is GCs, so the site is not fighting a map pack full of franchises. What it does is rank for ADU framing, decks, dry rot, the cities you work and your name, and give the GC a page with finished work and a license number to look at before the sub agreement. In the South Bay almost no framer has a real site, so the searches are open.
The C-5 Framing and Rough Carpentry license covers structural framing, decks and rough carpentry, and general contractors check the CSLB record before putting you on a job. Homeowners check the license number on the CSLB site before they call, so it goes in the footer of every page, on the home page and on the contact page, next to the bond and insurance line. If you hold more than one classification, each one is named on the service page it covers. See every California contractor classification I build for.
San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Milpitas, Fremont, Gilroy and the rest of the Bay Area. A framer working San Jose, Santa Clara and Sunnyvale gets short city pages, because "ADU framing Sunnyvale" is a separate search. Areas I serve. Related: websites for general contractors, websites for cabinet and finish carpentry contractors, websites for drywall contractors.
Most framing contractors fit the Growth tier at $2,100, fixed. That includes Search Visibility Setup, Spanish pages, and the monthly plan starts after launch. A framer with ADUs, decks, repair and GC work is an eight-page Growth build. A framing-only sub with no homeowner work is usually Starter at $1,500. A single-service framing contractor can fit Starter at $1,500.
A $525 deposit starts it and you see a preview in 24 to 48 hours. See exactly what Growth includes.

At Fouro, $2,100 fixed for the Growth build, which is what most framing contractors need: home, ADU framing, decks, structural repair, a GC page, a gallery, reviews and contact, in English and Spanish. A $525 deposit starts it and you see a preview in 24 to 48 hours. The monthly plan covers hosting, domain, email and updates, with no contract. A single-service framing contractor can fit Starter at $1,500.
One site, two audiences. The GC page says crew size, speed and license. The ADU and deck pages catch the homeowner and owner-builder searches you are leaving to the GCs. The GC also searches your name before subbing to you.
A per-square-foot range, yes. "Most redwood decks run $50 to $90 per square foot" is the search. You set the numbers; I will not publish one you have not confirmed.
The form takes a photo or a PDF of the plan and lands in your email with reply-to set, so you can quote from your phone.
Keep them if they send work. The site is the thing you own; those are rented. The site links to your profiles so the reviews count both ways.
