Who it's for / contractors / flooring contractors

Websites for flooring contractors, built with one page per floor type because that is how people search.

Nobody searches "flooring". They search "hardwood floor refinishing san jose" or "LVP installation cost". A site with one page for every floor type answers each search; a site with one Services page answers none.

Fouro Digital builds websites for flooring contractors in San Jose and across the Bay Area, including Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Milpitas, Fremont and Gilroy. A C-15 covers hardwood, laminate, vinyl, carpet and refinishing, and each of those is a separate search with separate pricing, so the site has one page per material from the start. I am a one-person studio in San Jose: I design, write and launch every site myself, in English and Spanish, for $2,100 fixed for the eight-page Growth build, with Google setup included. Call or text (408) 620-4106. Esta página en español.

What your customers actually type into Google

I check this against real search results in San Jose before I write a page, because the page has to match the search or it does not show. For flooring contractors the pattern is consistent:

The pages a flooring contractor website needs, and why each one exists

One page per service, because each service is its own search. A single "Services" page with everything on it ranks for nothing.

Mistakes I fix on flooring contractor websites

The honest part about flooring contractors and Google

For "flooring near me" the big-box stores and Yelp own the top of the page. The site does not fight them. It ranks for refinishing, LVP, the per-square-foot cost searches, and your name, which is what the flooring store customer searches after the store gives them your card.

Your license on the page: CSLB C-15

The C-15 Flooring and Floor Covering license covers wood, laminate, vinyl, carpet and resilient flooring, and homeowners checking the CSLB site expect to see it. Homeowners check the license number on the CSLB site before they call, so it goes in the footer of every page, on the home page and on the contact page, next to the bond and insurance line. If you hold more than one classification, each one is named on the service page it covers. See every California contractor classification I build for.

Cities I build flooring contractor websites for

San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Milpitas, Fremont, Gilroy and the rest of the Bay Area. A flooring contractor working San Jose, Santa Clara and Sunnyvale gets short city pages, because "hardwood floor refinishing Sunnyvale" is a separate search. Areas I serve. Related: websites for remodeling contractors, websites for tile contractors, websites for cabinet and finish carpentry contractors.

What it costs for a flooring contractor

Most flooring contractors fit the Growth tier at $2,100, fixed. That includes Search Visibility Setup, Spanish pages, and the monthly plan starts after launch. A flooring contractor with hardwood, refinishing, LVP and carpet is an eight-page Growth build. A refinishing-only business is usually Starter at $1,500. A single-service flooring contractor can fit Starter at $1,500.

A $525 deposit starts it and you see a preview in 24 to 48 hours. See exactly what Growth includes.

Questions flooring contractors ask me

Who builds websites for flooring contractors in the Bay Area?

Fouro Digital, a one-person web design studio in San Jose, builds websites for flooring contractors in San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Milpitas, Fremont, Gilroy and the rest of the Bay Area. Most flooring contractors fit the $2,100 Growth build: eight pages, English and Spanish, Google Business Profile and Search Visibility Setup included. Call or text (408) 620-4106.

How much does a website for a flooring contractor cost in the Bay Area?

At Fouro, $2,100 fixed for the Growth build, which is what most flooring contractors need: home, hardwood install, refinishing, LVP, one more material page, a gallery, reviews and contact, in English and Spanish. A $525 deposit starts it and you see a preview in 24 to 48 hours. The monthly plan covers hosting, domain, email and updates, with no contract. A single-service flooring contractor can fit Starter at $1,500.

Do I publish per-square-foot prices?

A range per material, yes. "Hardwood refinishing runs $4 to $7 per square foot" is what people search for, and it pre-qualifies them. You set the numbers; I will not publish one you have not confirmed.

Can the site show samples?

It shows your finished rooms, which sell better than a swatch. If you want a samples page with brands you carry, it is one more page, quoted by the page.

I get most of my work from a flooring store. Do I need a site?

That customer searches your name before calling. If nothing comes up, or a two-review Yelp page comes up, the store's referral goes cold. The site exists to catch that search.

What about Yelp and Thumbtack?

Keep them if they send work. The site is the thing you own; those are rented. The site links to your profiles so the reviews count both ways.
