You don’t need a website. You need more customers.

A website is just the tool. The actual job is making sure that when somebody in San Jose needs what you do, they find you instead of the other guy. Everything below is organized by the problem, not by what I feel like selling.

Websites from $900 to $3,200, search visibility work from $145, and monthly plans from $49. Every price is published, there is no contract, and you own your domain and your website files. If you are not sure which one you need, send me your website address and I will tell you for free.

“Nobody can find me online”

The most common problem, and usually the cheapest to fix. Somebody searches for what you do and you are not there.

“People find me but they don’t call”

Traffic without calls is a conversion problem, and it is a different fix from a visibility problem.

“I don’t want to think about it”

You run the business. The website should not be another thing on your list.

Also in the shop

Not a service. A thing you buy once and use.

What every build includes, no upsell

Agencies usually sell the website and then sell you the reason it works separately. That has always struck me as backwards, so all of this is in the price of any build:

The full breakdown of what things cost is on the pricing page, including a comparison against what the packaged agencies charge and what their contracts actually say.

Common questions

I do not know which one I need. Where do I start?

Send me your website address, or your Instagram if you do not have a site. I will look at it and tell you what I would do, at no charge and with no pitch. Half the time the answer is cheaper than people expect, and sometimes the answer is that you do not need me yet.

Will a website actually get me more customers?

On its own, no. A website that nobody can find is a business card in a drawer. What brings customers is being findable when somebody searches for what you do, then giving them an obvious way to call or book. That is why every build includes the search setup rather than selling it as an upgrade.

How long before I see anything?

The site itself takes two to three weeks to build. Google Business Profile changes can show the same day. Search results realistically take four to six weeks to move, and longer if your domain is brand new. Anybody promising faster is guessing.

Do you charge more for certain industries?

No. A twelve page site is $3,200 whether you are a plumber or a restaurant. What changes is what goes on the pages, not what it costs.

What if I already have a website?

Then you probably do not need a new one. A lot of the sites I look at are structurally fine and have technical problems keeping them out of Google, which is a much cheaper fix. I will tell you which situation you are in before you spend anything.

Not sure which one you need?

Send me your website or your Instagram. I will tell you what I would do, including if the answer is nothing.
